Interests applicants must apply by November 4th, by contacting Leading Transitions at LSW9@leadingtransitions.com. Requirements for submission are included in the Executive Director Profile. THE BOOK SALE IS COMING!
DONATE BOOKS OR HOST A DRIVE
From now until September 20th, we are hoping to bring in thousands of books. If you haven't already, consider donating books from your own library in the collection box at our entrance. Ask your friends and family if they have hardcovers and paperbacks they can spare. Our collection is not limited to books. We accept movies, music and audio-books on VHS, tape, CD and DVD too. However, we can not accept magazines, encyclopedias, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books or textbooks.
If you are really ambitious, email dustin@literacyservices.org for information on hosting a book drive. Community areas of condos, apartment buildings, workplaces, churches and clubs are great places for our collection boxes. If you can get us in the door, we will deliver collection boxes and pick-up books.
